WHAT WE DO

Partners in Recovery offer a free service that supports people with severe and complex mental health concerns to figure out where they want to go and how to get there

THIS INITIATIVE IS FUNDED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH

Navigating the mental health system can be confusing – there are many agencies and programs to work with, each offering different support. Partners In Recovery (PIR) Central Queensland can help you navigate the system to access mental health services and resources, assisting in your recovery.

Let us help work out where you want to go,
and then let us help you get there

HOW IT WORKSYour experience with PIR

  • Step 1: Eligibility

Our friendly intake officer will determine whether you are eligible for the service. If you are deemed ineligible, they will be able to provide you with other services in the community that can help you.

  • Step 2: Meet with Support Facilitator

If you are eligible, you will meet with a Support Facilitator who will work with you to determine your needs and work out a plan of action to meet your goals.

  • Step 3: Achieve goals

Your Support Facilitator will help you with things such as housing, income and employment, therapy and counselling, making friends, transport, support groups and drug and alcohol support if needed.
